Municipal News

 1) The next municipal council meeting is Monday, November 30th at 5:00 pm. at Municipal Court House Building
     in Baddeck. The agenda is available on the website.

 2) The Victoria County Tourism Resource Centre has been updated on Nov. 17th with new articles in
     Atlantic Canada & National Tourism, International Tourism News, Technology News and Tourism Calendar.  
     A new blog post has been added- Olympic Torch Relay and a new video on PhoCusWright 2009 Conference.
    
 3) Tourism funding programs and application form for tourism groups and community groups are now posted on
     the tourism resource centre website along with the municipal tourism committee members and 2009-
     2010 workplan and priorities for tourism. The revised Tourism Capital Projects policy & guidelines is now
     posted as well. Note: Deadline for Tourism Capital Projects Proposals is November 30th, 2009.

 4)  The October newsletter of the Victoria County Heritage & Archives Dept. is now available.  

 5)  Victoria County is featured in the Autumn issue of Nova Scotia Open to the World magazine in the
     Rural Broadband article on page 29 & 31.
